Doing PT didn't actually get me up to par, while standard PT gets you moving up, down side to side etc, but being highly inlvoved in construction work and fully committed to jiu-jitsu, my knees and body needed more. He built a whole in house program for me to do with what I had available to me (kettlebells, resistance bands etc) and within months my knees and even my lower back pain were gone, I could go to jiu-jitsu without any lagging pains. The last portion of the program we worked on a strengthening portion to build on what we have started and to minimize future injuries, to strengthen and mobilize joints to have better impact in jiu-jitsu.
