We help Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athletes who want to perform at their best, roll pain-free, and get stronger on the mats
Athletes who are committed to improving their game and want a clear, proven plan to do it
Those who are already training but feel stuck, sidelined by injuries, or unsure what to focus on next
Grapplers who want to move better, recover faster, and build strength that actually translates to BJJ performance
Athletes who want a training plan that fits their life — so they can train hard, recover fully, and still enjoy life off the mats
We help grapplers train smarter, stay injury-free, and get stronger on the mats with a program that fits their life, so they can roll at their best without overtraining or burnout.
We do this through our flagship coaching system, built around my 3-step process:
Optimize Recovery → Master Fundamental Human Movements → Get Stronger
We help athletes build simple, repeatable routines, improve mobility and strength efficiently, and enjoy training without constantly feeling sore or sidelined.
By helping grapplers reach this level of performance, they can enjoy BJJ more, perform at their best, and take care of their bodies for years to come.

Dr. Evan graduated PT school in 2020 and started training BJJ around the same time.
Strength training has always been his foundation, kettlebells are his obsession, and earning his blue belt from Andre “Dedeco” Almeida is still one of his proudest accomplishments.
But in February 2023, everything changed.
While squatting, He felt a sudden collapse deep in his lower back — a herniated disc.
The pain that followed was brutal. He couldn’t sit, couldn’t eat, lost 20 pounds, and honestly, he was embarrassed.
He thought “I’m a physical therapist — I’m supposed to fix people. Not be the one lying on the floor, wrecked”.
That injury humbled him. It forced him to slow down, rebuild, and rethink everything.
He deferred on surgery, passed on injection and declined medication.
He started from ground zero: walking, eating better, sleeping more. He had to earn his way back to movement.
He wasn’t sure he’d ever train again.
During this time, one client of his stood out — a guy from his Jiu Jitsu gym.
He followed the plan, respected his body, and kept showing up on the mat.
That stuck with Evan.
Eventually, he realized something he had always known deep down: there are two versions of himself.
The version of him who is training Jiu Jitsu and the version of him who is not.
And he realized he was at his best, most fulfilled, most effective when training Jiu Jitsu
And it was in that moment he decided to dedicate his work as a Physical Therapist towards helping BJJ athletes stay strong, mobile, and in the game.
Because he had been there. And he never wanted another grappler to feel like they have to choose between pain and the sport they love.
Dr. Evan has helped over 200 grapplers to move and feel better on the mat, get stronger and train without limitation.
Dr. Evan lives in Boston, MA with his wife who helps him run the business side of things in allowing BJJ athletes to get back to the mats, stay on the mats and improve performance in their Jiu Jitsu training.
Dr. Evan spends his time either training at South Boston BJJ (AM class, primarily No Gi), working with his kettlebells in their spare bedroom or checking out new restaurants around Boston with his wife, friends & family.
